This class came about because in our Open Forum last November and December two people approached me and asked "What are all of these pagan religions that we keep hearing about in the Roman Empire". So we included that in our Open Forum voting and it got a lot of votes!
The first interesting thing you will learn is that the Roman Empire was extremely religious - in the polytheistic sense. And they were very proud of it. The second thing you will learn is that there were way to many gods to talk about in this one week course. Se we will be summarizing quite a bit!
So come and learn. We meet in Room 205 at 9:45am.
